As Senior Director for MediaVision at Case Western Reserve University, Mike is responsible for several critical services, including the University’s video production services, audio-visual services, audio-visual event support, central classroom technology infrastructure, which includes system design, integration, and support, and the University’s centralized lecture capture system. He brings innovative solutions and leadership to the University while providing strategic and operational vision. Mike has led various IT units throughout his career and assumed leadership over areas requiring revitalization and strong leadership. His roles as a mentor and change agent have allowed him to build new teams, develop strategic and operational plans, lead personnel development, and institute new approaches to service delivery.

Before assuming these responsibilities, Mike served the University in various roles, most recently as the Assistant Director for Teaching and Learning Systems, Classroom & AV Leader, and Manager of Technology Enhanced Classrooms.

Mike began his career at CWRU in 1985. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Lakeland Community College. In 2019, Mike was inducted into the Lakeland Alumni Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Lakeland Foundation Board of Directors. Mike is a MOR Associates Advanced Leaders Program graduate and an EDUCAUSE Leading Change Institute Fellow. In addition, Mike is an alumnus of the EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership program and holds certificates in Excellence in Leadership and Developing Leadership Through Emotional Intelligence.
