  I haven't noticed major differences in content between this and the preceding edition, but wouldn't trust exercise numbers...
• Class meets: MWF 10:30 - 11:20 in Yost 104 (except possibly for the final exam).
• Exams & Grading: The course grade will be determined primarily by the results of two midterm exams (100pts each), and the final exam (200pts). (Students with special needs should contact Educational Support Services.) Homework, class participation and quizzes, if any, will count for an additional 50 pts.
• Midterms: Tentative dates: Oct. 6 and Nov. 21
• Final: December 10, 2003, 8:30-11:30 a.m., most likely also in Yost 104.
• Computing: Computers will be helpful for some assignments, but not indispensable. On the other hand, most of the 'out of class' course related communications will take place over the Internet. It is also strongly suggested that you regularly bring calculators to class.
