At their recent annual meeting, the National Humanities Association launched The Strategies for Recruiting Students to the Humanities: A Comprehensive Resource. Two programs of the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities are featured in the publication. Humanities@Work is featured on page 17 and the Baker-Nord Scholars program is featured on pages 64-65.
This resource aims to document and disseminate effective recruitment strategies to the humanities community and highlights over 100 exemplary initiatives and elevates the voices of project directors and participating students. It is part of the NHA's "Study the Humanities" initiative.
