Harkness Chapel is used primarily by the Music department for performance and practice but is remembered as the location of honors assemblies, special convocations, and compulsory chapel at Mather College. Also, designed by Schweinfurth, the chapel was given by the Harkness family and Louis H. Severance as a memorial to Florence Harkness Severance.
