17. Student Health Center (1896) Tour Locations

The Student Health Center was the School of Law building until 1972 when the school moved into its present home in Gund Hall, at the corner of Ford Drive and East Boulevard. The building, designed by Schweinfurth, was renovated in 1983 to serve as the home of the University Health Service. It includes a 12-bed infirmary and specialty clinics. The inscription on the frieze, "The law is the last result of human wisdom acting upon human experience for the benefit of the public…," is by Samuel Johnson.
