› University Leadership
From the president, provost and board of trustees to deans and administrators, university leadership is charged with guiding Case Western Reserve to new forms of excellence and redefining the role of a top research university in the 21st century.

University President
A legal scholar who began her academic career on this campus, Barbara R. Snyder became president of Case Western Reserve University on July 1, 2007. Within her first two years in office, Case Western Reserve eliminated a multi-million-dollar deficit three years ahead of schedule, set new fundraising records and completed the university's first strategic plan in more than a decade. Provost and Executive Vice President
Provost and Executive Vice President W. A. "Bud" Baeslack III heads the implementation of Case Western Reserve's academic strategic plan. Since starting as Snyder's second in 2008, he has led the university to recruit the highest quality and most national undergraduate class in our history and guided a research and technology transfer enterprise that is setting records for licensing revenues. Senior Leadership
Case Western Reserve University's Board of Trustees is representative of the university community as a whole — four out of every five members are alumni — and several deans and administrators have served at Case Western Reserve in previous positions. Members of senior leadership are among the best and brightest in education administration — as well as award-winning advisers, mentors, scholars and teachers.
