Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell and CWRU President Edward M. Hundert testify at the spring board of directors meeting of the Corporation for National and Community Service, conducted recently in Crawford Hall. Glenn Odenbrett, director of CWRU's Office of Student Community Service; graduating senior Christine Welk, who has served two consecutive part-time AmeriCorps terms; and Richard Kinsley, executive director of Ohio Campus Compact, also addressed the board. They talked about service learning opportunities in the state and ways the corporation could help universities become more involved in their communities. Arthur Naparstek, professor at CWRU's Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, is retiring from the board.
