During the Hudson Relays it is. The freshmen class of 2006 took top honors in this year's relays, beating sophomore, junior, senior and alumni teams. A long-standing tradition between CWRU, the City of Hudson and the City of Cleveland, the relay was run annually between Cleveland and Hudson for many years. In 1990 it was replaced by a 26-mile course around University Circle. Following the relays, students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community enjoyed Springfest, the University's annual end of the academic year celebration. Events included continuous music performances, novelty attractions, hot air balloon rides, fireworks, caricaturists, refreshments and a SoccerFest.
