Several Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine faculty
members appeared on a list of best surgeons, excerpted from The
Best Doctors in America database, appearing in the April 2003
issue of Northern Ohio Live magazine.
The list is from an annual, peer-based survey commissioned by
Best Doctors Inc. Doctors were asked to name the best surgeons
in their specialty, based on the question, "If you or a loved
one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you turn?"
(Surveys for two categories on the list, bariatric surgery and
sports medicine surgery, were compiled by the magazine.)
