Steven Organiscak, ITP Project Manager for the Information Technology
Services, announced today that Phase 4 of the five-phase upgrade
to CWRU's network has been completed.
The buildings in Phase 4 include most of the Medical School Complex.
Phase 5A of the project is already underway and a number of
buildings have been upgraded including Guilford, Gund, Haydn,
Mather House. Additionally, the move of the Wood Building West
Wing fourth floor to the new Wood Addition has already been planned
and is scheduled to upgraded at the end of the month. The areas
remaining in Phase 5A are the Dively, Mather Memorial and Cutter
buildings.
Planning meetings for Phases 5B and 5C are conducted from 1:30-4:30
p.m. every other Monday in Crawford 13. The next scheduled meeting
is March 24. All interested are welcome.
The phase 5B buildings are Kelvin Smith Library, Allen Memorial
Library, Crawford Hall, Cedar Avenue Service Center, Tomlinson
Hall and Yost Hall. The phase 5C buildings include Thwing Center,
CHSC, Nursing, Health Services, Bingham, Veale, Biology and Kent
Hale Smith.
The buildings that are completed through Phase 4 include: the
Peter B. Lewis Building, Chi OmegaClarke Tower, Cutler House,
Delta Tau Delta, Hitchcock House, Magnolia House (Alpha Phi),
Norton House, Phi Gamma Delta, Phi Kappa Theta, Phi Mu, Pierce
House, Raymond House, Sherman House, Sigma Chi, Smith House, Wolstein
Hall, Storrs House, Taft House, Theta Chi, Tyler House, Wade Commons,
Zeta Beta Tau, Alumni House, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Kappa Epsilon
(See Beta Theta Pi), Fribley Commons, Glaser House, Howe House,
Kusch House, Lockwood-Thompson House (Scholar's), Michelson House,
Murray Hill (Sigma Phi Epsilon), Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Psi
