SatCo class schedule is online

The spring Saturday College (SatCo) class schedule—as well as registration information and forms—are available online at http://ess.cwru.edu/vision.

Grad Fair concludes today

Graduates are encouraged to attend the final day of the first annual CWRU Grad Fair. The University's official "one stop shop" for all graduation information is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today in Thwing Center.

Graduates can purchase souvenir regalia at the fair. Other commencement items including graduation announcements, diploma frames and class rings also will be available for purchase.

Faculty register for commencement

Faculty members now can register online with the University marshal to participate in commencement exercises. Registration deadline for faculty, as well as graduates, is March 31. The registration form and detailed information about the ceremonies and regalia rental are available at http://www.cwru.edu/commencement.

Motorcycle parking info is online

Information about motorcycle parking on campus is available at the parking Web site, http://parking.cwru.edu, or by calling Access Services at 368-2273.

SAC sponsors paper drive

During the week of March 24-28, the Staff Advisory Council community service committee will conduct a paper drive in support of the Cleveland Municipal Schools Mary Bethune Elementary and Joseph F. Landis School of Tomorrow.

The schools are in need of reams of white and color paper, office supplies like "white out" and used printer cartridges for Lexmark and Canon BC-02 or BC-05 printers.

Nobel Laureate to speak

The physics department will host Steven Chu, the 1997 Nobel Laureate in physics, giving the 2003 Michelson Lecture, "What Can We Learn From Looking at Biological Processes, One Molecule at a Time?" at 4 p.m. March 27 in Strosacker Auditorium. A reception follows in the Hovorka Atrium of the Pytte Science Center. To learn more, call 368-4257.

Social work talks scheduled

The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will host two free discussions related to world events.

Mandel School alumnus Hentry Tanaka will relate his personal experiences living in a Japanese American internment campus during World War II in "Remembering Japanese American Internment Camps: Is the USA Patriot Act DZj^ vu All Over Again?" from 4-6 p.m. March 25 in room 320 of the Mandel School

For Tanaka's talk, continuing education credits (CEUs) are available and can be arranged at the door.

From 4:30-6:30 p.m. alumna Myrna Balk, both a social worker and artist for more than 25 years, will display and discuss a unique art collection inspired by women of Nepal in a lecture entitled "Art as Witness: Shattered Lives—Unshattered Dreams." A reception in the Mandel School third floor atrium will followed Balk's discussion.
