Andre Thornton, a former Cleveland Indian All-Star and nationally
known speaker, reflects on the importance the messages of Martin
Luther King Jr. hold today. Thornton, a community and business
leader, gave the keynote address at CWRU's 2003 Martin Luther
King Jr. Convocation.
In addition to the keynote address by Thornton, the first-place
student winner of the 2003 Martin Luther King Jr. essay contest
were announced. Those honored are listed below with links to their
