Civis, a prototype of one of the proposed vehicles for the Euclid Corridor Transportation Project, recently stopped outside the Peter B. Lewis Building. The bus is 60 feet long—20 feet longer than a normal bus—and has bellows in the middle to allow for turning corners. It seats 120 and is powered by a diesel-electric motor. The vehicle is manufactured in France by the Iris company, which is a joint venture of Fiat and Renault.
