Interim President James Wagner has appointed
an advisory committee in the national search for a successor to
Nathan Berger as dean of medicine and vice president for medical
affairs.
The national executive search firm Korn/Ferry
International will assist in the search.
The advisory committee will likely contact
members of the School of Medicine to seek nominations and suggestions
of persons to be considered for the position.
Members of the advisory committee include:
Murray D. Altose, professor of medicine and chief of staff, Louis
Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center; Ben H. Brouhard,
professor of pediatrics; executive vice president for medical
affairs and chief of staff, MetroHealth Medical Center; Lindsey

affairs; Jonathan Karn, professor and chair, molecular biology
and microbiology; Lynn T. Landmesser, professor and chair, neurosciences;
Edith Lerner, associate professor, department of nutrition and
