The University's annual book sale offers 72,000 books and will
be conducted June 1-4 in CWRU's Adelbert Gym. Free, public hours
are noon to 6 p.m. on June 1-3 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 4.
A presale admission of $20 lets early arrivers shop from 10 a.m.
to noon opening day. Special book sale events are the silent auction
of rarities at 4:30 p.m. June 2, half-price day June 3 and $5
box day June 4.
All proceeds from the sale benefit the Association of Continuing
Education's programs. Call 368-2090 for details.
Faculty and staff can renew Veale Center lockers through June
28. The cost for the 2002-2003 school year is $65. Locker cleanout
will begin July 1. For more information, call 368-2868.
CWRU Spartan Basketball Camps will be conducted for girls July
15-19 and for boys between the ages of 11 and 18 July 21-25 and
August 4-8.

CWRU's Weight Watchers at Work program will start another 14-week
session 11:30 a.m. Thursdays beginning May 30. All meetings are

The Women's Coalition Book Club will discuss Wild Swans: Three
Daughters of China by Jung Chang June 5 and . . . And Ladies
of the Club by Helen Hooven Santmyer July 10. Both meetings
are from noon to 1 p.m. in 720 Crawford Hall.
Wild Swans is the story of how three generations of women
fared in the political maelstrom of China during the 20th century,
while . . . And Ladies of the Club centers on the members
of a book club and their struggles to understand themselves, each
other and the tumultuous world they live in.
