A new dean for freshmen has been named, and she
brings extensive experience in academic advising and coordinating
and teaching first-year student seminars. Julie L. Amon will join
CWRU as assistant dean for freshmen in the Office of Undergraduate
Studies May 6.

In studying the history of the literature on organizational
culture, Steven Feldman, associate professor of management policy
at the Weatherhead School of Management, finds moral traditions
that have served American society in the past have been in decline
for decades, contributing to the crises at Enron, Arthur Andersen
and other troubled organizations.
