Susie Gharib day at CWRU
Gharib was the inaugural speaker for the new Susie Gharib Distinguished Lectureship in Journalism. Gharib, an award-winning veteran journalist, graduated magna cum laude in 1972 from Flora Stone Mather College. Her career started at the Plain Dealer and continued at Newsweek. In addition, she reported for the Associated Press, Fortune magazine and ESPN's "Business Times." She also anchored CNBC's "Today's Business" and "Market Watch."
