Pulitzer feminist to speak
Susan Faludi, a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and voice for American
feminism, will speak at 4:30 p.m. February 12 in Strosacker Auditorium.

Alumnae Association, the Hallinan Project and the College Scholars Program.
In 1991, Faludi won the Pulitzer Prize for her investigative reporting
for The Wall Street Journal. She rocked the political landscape in 1992
when Backlash: The Undeclared War against American Women hit bookshelves
with an account of issues facing women today. An internationally best-seller,
Backlash earned the 1992 National Book Critics Circle Award.
Faludi answers such questions as why today's men are so angry and discontented
in her newest book, Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Male.
This book continues her exploration of how modern cultures shape the lives
