Offices around campus have donated 33 baskets full of prizes
for the Staff Advisory Council to raffle during the CWRU Benefits
Fair, November 19 and 20. Tickets are $1.
Proceeds from the second annual SAC Basket Raffle will support
activities at Joseph Landis School of Tomorrow, 10118 Hamden,
and Mary Bethune Elementary School, 11815 Moulton. At Landis,
monies raised will defray the costs of cultural field trips and
supplies for student activities. At Bethune, a school with an
Afrocentric-based curriculum, funds will be used to purchase new
books and also supplies for student activities.
Office participation has doubled from last year's first raffle
that raised more than $1,600.

their basket theme into the jobs they do on campus," says Kimberly
