Jane Campbell, mayor-elect of Cleveland, visited campus November 13 to meet with Interim President James Wagner. Since winning the November 6 election, Campbell has said that one of her highest priorities as Cleveland's first woman mayor will be to invest in technology and biotech activities. Wagner also has made research and tech transfer among his top goals since becoming interim president in May. The two discussed the topic of partnerships, and how working together on common interests can help both the city and the University make advancements.
