The agreement also enables Motion Computing to sell its M1300 Tablet PC and accessories to the university's students, faculty and staff—as well as the STA affiliates. Formed in 2002, the STA includes neighboring educational, research, cultural, health care and governmental organizations that share common goals and directions with the university. Currently, there are 17 STA affiliates, including the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland State University, and the Cleveland Institute of Art. Located in Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University is one of the nation's leading independent research universities, with programs that encompass arts and sciences, engineering, health sciences, law, management and social work. "Being a leading innovator in mobile and wireless computing, Motion Computing is an ideal partner for the university's technology initiatives," said Lev Gonick, vice president of information technology services and chief information officer at Case Western Reserve University. "We're fortunate to have developed this relationship with Motion Computing, and look forward to incorporating the Tablet PC into our research programs and classroom environment." "Our partnership with Case Western Reserve University is another example of Motion's commitment to higher education," said Ralph Spagnola, Motion's vice president of sales. "Colleges and universities are excellent incubators for technological innovations. This partnership is an opportunity for a wide range of vendors and institutions to take advantage of the tablet PC's many benefits." Case
