The Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program of the U.S. Department of State aims to attract outstanding
students into careers in the Foreign Service. The fellowships provide funding for tuition, room and
board, books and fees for the junior and senior years, for a required summer institute, and for the
first year of graduate study. Women and members of minority groups historically underrepresented in
the Foreign Service are encouraged to apply.
