An exchange program between Fisk University and Case Western Reserve University enables up to four CWRU students to spend a semester as visiting students at Fisk each year. Up to four Fisk students may spend a semester at CWRU each year. Fisk University was founded in 1866 and focused on providing a quality liberal arts education to the children of former slaves. Fisk University has a distinguished history as a liberal art institution. Fisk University was the first historically black college to have chapters of the national honorary societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board.
CWRU students who participate in the CWRU-Fisk Exchange pay tuition to CWRU, pay the Fisk room and board fees, and maintain their student status during the period of the exchange. Information about the exchange program is available from Claudia Anderson in the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
