Equality Ohio Film Tour Presents: Call Me Malcolm Film Viewing and Panel Discussion

Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Plymouth Church United Church of Christ (2860 Coventry Rd., Shaker Heights) from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

Call Me Malcolm is a documentary about a transgender seminary student, and his struggle with faith, love and gender identity.  The evening's presentation will include a panel discussion with Rev. Malcolm Himschoot. For more information, contact erin@equalityohio.org.


Cleveland Hillel, and the Jewish Student Group Host a Trembling Party

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 6pm in Nord 400. This event is free and Kosher food will be served.

Safe Zone

Safe Zone Information Session

November 5th meeting is cancelled. A new date in February is forthcoming..
This meeting will be open to all faculty, staff and students. Attendees will learn what the Safe Zone program is, how to become a Safe Zone member, and be able to sign up for upcoming sessions in the Spring.

Gay Games

Gay Games are coming to Cleveland in 2014

August 9 through August 16, 2014 at Cleveland and Akron venues.
The Federation of Gay Games proclaimed Cleveland the winner in Cologne, Germany, on Wednesday, September 30th. Cleveland was chosen from three finalists that included Boston and Washington, D.C. Stay tuned to the Federation's website for updates.
