Outstanding Mentor Award 2006The Postdoctoral Researchers Association would like to reward outstanding mentors who assist postdoctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students in their career development. We are interested in hearing about mentors that help with job searches, research technical training, publications, intellectual freedom, introducing you to researchers in the field and lastly, a genuine interest in your life outside of academia. The “Outstanding Mentor” will receive a plaque and a $1,000 monetary honorarium, which will be presented at the School of Graduate Studies Diploma Ceremony on Sunday, May 21, 2006. Anyone may nominate a mentor; however, they must have mentored a postdoctoral researcher in the last year. The deadline for nomination of the “Outstanding Mentor” is April 1, 2006 . The Postdoctoral Researchers Association Steering Committee will select the outstanding mentor.
