Mock Trial Workshop for High School Students
This workshop was held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:00AM-4:00PM on the main quad of the CWRU campus. Sessions offered included:
-Writing Memorable Opening Statements
-Preparing Compelling Closing Arguments
-How to Be a Credible Witness
-Developing a Case Theory
-Keys to the Direct Examination
-Tackling the Cross Examination
-Understanding Rules, Procedures, and Objections
Each person attended a total of five sessions during the workshop. Registration was ten dollars per person and includes lunch and all informational materials for the sessions. Coaches who attended with 10 or more students had their registration fee waived. Any questions should be directed to Debra Zauner, dlz5@case.edu.
