Buzzerpalooza
Participants

The following schools have registered to compete for Buzzerpalooza. All schools must register and pay for each participating team by January 15! You will be considered on a waiting list until your payment is received or you have made prior arrangements.

the largest invitational tournaments in Ohio (so far)!

Advance submission of rosters is required for placement of a team in the JV tournament! Otherwise, it will be assumed a team will compete in the regular field.

Junior Varsity Competition

We will define a junior varsity (JV) team as consisting of only freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with no experience as a first-string "varsity" player (this is the Michigan HS academic competition definition of JV). Junior high school teams will be placed in the JV on a space-available basis. The members of the CWRU College Trivia Club will trust that everyone will abide by these criteria on their honor.

No more than two teams from one school should compete in the JV competition.

NOTE: No school can field more than three teams total without bringing a buzzer system without express permission from the Tournament Organizers. At the discretion of the tournament advisors, schools with multiple teams may be asked to yield a team spot to accommodate more schools. Appropriate credit for lost spots will be applied for entry fees to future tournaments held by the CWRU Trivia Club unless a team drops within 72 hours of the tournament registration time, in which case no credit will be given. No refunds will be given.

The following schools have committed to compete. Division assignments will be announced on-site. We are in the process of identifying the JV teams for separate divisional play.

If we are unable to get the waitlisted teams into the Buzzerpalooza field, they will be registered automatically for GLRAC. The Trivia Club regrets the inconvenience of notifying these teams of their status, but we only have the rooms we are given to run the tournament.

Teams that were left on the waiting list by the time the competition was completed will also receive priority registration to next year's competition.
