The Team Champion will receive a championship trophy. If the school represented by the Championship team is from Ohio, that school is eligible to compete at the Ohio Academic Championship Regional tournament if it has not already done so.
The schools represented by teams that finished in the top two will also receive one automatic entry to next year's Buzzerpalooza competition.
Both teams will also be invited to compete in the PACE National Scholastics Championships. The two semifinalist teams will also receive information on the tournament but will not be automatically invited unless one of the top two teams refuses its bid to compete or the field size is larger than 40.
The trophies for Buzzerpalooza will be sent after the tournament to the winning schools, or awarded at the Great Lakes Regional Academic Championship tournament. The trophies will be personalized for the first and second place schools.
An All-Star team will be selected from competitors whose teams have advanced to the quarterfinal rounds. Each All-Star Selection will receive a certificate or a trophy. The Jessica McGeary Most Outstanding Player Award will be presented to the best player as selected by the tournament organizers.
A separate trophy will be sent to the recipient of the McGeary award to the team advisor.
Any special prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the officials.
