Peer Helpers are trained student volunteers who provide outreach programming to peers in the residence halls, Greek organizations, and support other efforts to improve the health and wellness of our campus community. The Peer Helper is a nonjudgmental listener, an aid in referring students to campus/community resources, and a provider of information and assistance through informal conversations and programs.
The Peer Helper Network is a program of the Department of Housing and Residence Life at Case Western Reserve University. While the Peer Helper Network seeks to improve the quality of student life on campus through information and training, the Peer Helper Programming Council is the officially recognized student group which develops and is involved with campus programs and projects such as World AIDS Day and the "Sex, Drugs and Rock N Roll" Conference.
