The Graduate Student Senate
recognizes graduate student groups
under Article IV of the
Grad Senate Bylaws. Recognized
groups are allowed affilation with
CWRU in name and access to CWRU
facilities. The recognition process
consits of a
petition
of recognition which is
reviewed by the GSS Orgs &
Allocations Committee and then
approved by the full Senate.
Petitions are
to be submitted by groups between
September 1 and September 30th each
year and recognition is valid for
one year (so it must be renewed on
an annual basis). The
Grad Senate will not review or
approve petitions outside of the
denoted petition period.
All these groups agree to abide
by the CWRU non-discrimination
policy so any gradute student
should feel welcome to attend any
of these groups' activities.
