0. Misc. announcements  [Some committee reports may be given; other committee 
reports may be distributed by e-mail.]
1. International Buddy Program: discussing the mission statement and 
objectives for coordinators & buddies; finding coordinators; forming 
strategies for coordinators to recruit buddies; coming up with ideas about 
activities we can offer to new students and their buddies; developing a 
timeline for various phases of the operation
2. Brief discussion re: the vacancy in the Graduate Studies Office
3. Verhosek fund appeal: establish an ad-hoc committee (to be chaired by Raja 
Ghanem); recruit GSS representatives to serve on the committee; determine the 
number and timing of phases; come up with ideas for written material and a 
website
4. Activities: overview of this semester's activities; recruit GSS 
representatives to serve on the committee (chaired by John Martin)
5. Diekhoff award: call a first meeting of the committee (chaired by Pam 
Maimer)
