Gamma Chapter News

Gamma and Gamma Sigma brothers gathered for a combined fall initiation. Welcome new brothers of Fall 2008!

Brothers gathered for a Big-Little event to indulge in Mama Santa's pizza and ogle a huge carrot.

Brothers Connor Evans and Lauren Boucher helped the Chemistry Undergraduate Recruiting Committee address questions from interested student and the Undergraduate Choices Fair.

Alpha Chi Sigma performed Halloween-themed hands on chemistry experiments for local elementary and middle school students. The addition of the experiment "bleeding paper" allowed students to show their artistic skills while learning about the acid-base relationship.

Alpha Chi Sigma supported brother Colleen Weiler at the Great Strides cystic fibrosis fundraising event.

Brothers Annie Hall and Connor Evans printing and binding laboratory manuals. These manuals are then sold to students in introductory chemistry courses as a fundraiser.

Brandon and Nikki Connor

Members of Alpha Chi Sigma volunteered at the Great Lakes Science Center. While there, the children learn how to make slime, lava lamps, dancing raisins, how to suck eggs into a bottle, and the correlation between mass and gravitational acceleration (thanks Robert).
