"Roger and Anne Clapp have set the standard for what it means to be trustees of this university. When the University's history over the last quarter century is written the Clapps will receive prominent mention. Along with the generosity and active leadership for which we know them best, they are people who have consistently avoided the limelight," CWRU Board Chair John F. Lewis at University Medal ceremony. |
M. Roger and Anne Clapp have provided leadership and support for every aspect of Case Western Reserve University, and in doing so have contributed to the advancement of knowledge and to the betterment of life as a whole. A testament to their dedication is the continued progress of CWRU. The Clapps' contribution to the Science Center complex has been memorialized in Clapp Hall, a four-story wing of classrooms and offices. M.
