Background
Dr. Takhar Kasumov received his doctoral and
post-doctoral training in organic chemistry at Moscow State University
(Russia) in the laboratory of Dr. N.S. Zefirov.
In 1997, Dr. Kasumov joined the Department of
Nutrition at CWRU where he currently holds the position of Assistant
Professor.
RESEARCH
INTERESTS
My research interests include biorganic
chemistry, as well as the design, synthesis, and characterization of
artificial nutrients and drugs.
