Jonathan
Whittaker, MD has a post-doctoral
scholar/research associate position available in
his laboratory to study structure-function relationships
of insulin and its receptor. POSITION
AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
Emphasis
will be on elucidating the molecular basis of ligand-receptor
interactions (see our recent publications Nature Drug
Discovery Reviews 1:769-783, 2002 and J. Biol. Chem.
276: 43980-6, 2001). Experimental approaches to be employed
include bacteriophage display, alanine scanning mutagenesis
and surface plasmon resonance. Background in molecular
biology, protein biochemistry or pharmacology required. Case
