WELCOME
The Department of Nutrition is a well respected and highly regarded center for research, training and teaching within the School of Medicine as well as amongst its peer institutions. It is one of the Basic Science Departments of the School of Medicine which offers undergraduate and graduate programs leading to many key degrees.
Any student whose interests span the fields of health, life sciences, engineering, computer sciences, management or behavioral science should consider a degree program in nutrition.
Departmental focus is on human nutrition and the application of the science of nutrition to the maintenance and/or improvement of health. Our teaching and research faculty investigate a broad spectrum of nutrition and/or metabolic science issues - as you will note throughout this website.
