Research:
I am studying in the laboratory of Dr. Liem Nguyen to identify and characterize mycobacterial factors required for intrinsic drug resistance and their role in virulence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Our lab is interested in the triangle of interactions between pathogenic mycobacteria-host responses and the antibiotics used to treat tuberculosis.
