Liem Nguyen has been awarded support from a STERIS Corporation Grant. The Division of Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, with funds from STERIS Corporation, reviewed a number of proposals from basic science and clinical investigators. This seed money will help to foster Dr. Nguyen’s research on the ability of MTB clinical isolates to rapidly replicate inside macrophages, their virulence levels, and dependence on PknG expression.
