Eric
is the primary investigator for the lab, supervising all current research
projects. Currently, the main research projects in the lab include
work on HIV-1 drug resistance and heterogeneity. In addition to his
lab duties, Eric is an associate professor at CWRU, teaching classes
in RNA viruses, viral drug resistance, and antivirals. He is also
director of the CWRU Center for Aids Research International Core,
working with the Joint Clinical Research Center in Kampala, Uganda.

Arts would like to announce that he will be going on sabbatical from
April 20 to September 20, 2004. He will still be responding to emails
and telephone calls during this time.*
