Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry - Requirements
The Undergraduate Biochemistry program leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) is intended for students who have an aptitude for the quantitative sciences and whose primary goal is to become a professional biochemist. The B.S. program in Biochemistry provides students with a strong background in both the fundamental aspects of modern biochemistry and in the quantitative physical sciences. For classes starting before F2005, the program may include, but does not require, a student's participation in an undergraduate research project in one of the many laboratories at CWRU engaged in biochemical research. The revised curriculum for the class entering in Fall, 2005 (formal approval pending) requires undergraduate research as a prerequisite to the SAGES capstone experience.
Partial Course List
BS program of study for students matriculating in Fall 2005 and later (pending formal approval).
See the registrar's office for a complete listing of classes.
