Research
conducted in our laboratory is concerned with energy
demand, energy metabolism, and blood flow in the
brain. The role of these mechanisms in the tissue
response to pathological insults such as stroke,
hypoxia, and seizures is being actively
investigated. Our most recent research has centered
around brain response to Cerebral Edema and Hypoxia.
