The Biomedical Sciences Training Program (BSTP) offers you a unique opportunity for graduate study. We're a common entry point to biomedical
Ph.D. programs that have over 200 faculty members with specialties in a wide range of research areas. Our faculty value their interactive relationships with
students and view mentoring young scientists as an important part
of the mission of the School of Medicine.
In your first year in the BSTP, you'll take part in courses in cell and molecular biology. You'll also embark on lab rotations
with outstanding research faculty. You'll then choose a faculty advisor and the biomedical Ph.D. program that fits you best for your
thesis work.
The BSTP identifies creative
young scientists from around the country and around the world to work with our dynamic faculty researchers. Our program provides complete tuition support and a stipend throughout your studies. |
