What is Youth Grantmaking?
Youth Grantmaking is very simply youth making decisions to allocate funding to community projects. In many ways, this activity is no different than the process that a foundation goes through to allocate its funds. Often this activity is referred to as youth philanthropy. However, because YPS views philanthropy in a broader sense, we have chosen to use the term youth grantmaking.
