Report on Youth Service in Greater Cleveland

In January 2004, the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations and its YPS program commissioned a report on youth service in Greater Cleveland. Our intent was to provide a base of knowledge that would inform, support, and advance youth philanthropy and service in the Northeast Ohio region.

This report, released in January 2005, outlines shared best practices in youth service and provides findings of how they are being implemented in Northeast Ohio. It also offers recommendations as to how organizations can work to advance youth service in Northeast Ohio. Appendices include a sampling of youth service programs in Northeast Ohio, resources on youth service, and data and survey instruments used in the report.
