Welcome back to an expanded Professional Development Program Series for 2008-09!
We are pleased to extend outstanding learning and networking opportunities to nonprofit leaders – executives, managers and Board members. This year’s line-up features the return of our popular seminars and conversations from last year as well as many new additions on fascinating topics presented by our renowned faculty members from across CWRU. Seminars and Conversations at the Center provide engaged learning opportunities to expand both knowledge and ability to effectively address and solve today’s pressing issues in nonprofit management and leadership
Another addition to this year’s line-up is a Community Dialogue Series to which the entire community is invited to hear how nonprofit organizations have tackled and succeeded in redressing serious community issues.
Pricing for Seminars and Conversations at the Center remains the same as last year. In addition, we are offering special 25th anniversary pricing that will allow an organization to maximize its professional development dollars. So a second person from an organization may attend a program for just $25 more. We hope many organizations are able to take advantage of this offer.
The Mandel Center is pleased to announce that two specal lectures will be offered during this academic year. Both are free and open to the public. The first will be held during Alumni Weekend in early October, which will feature a nationally-recognized speaker on nonprofit leadership. The second is the Sugarman Lecture, offered in collaboration with CWRU’s College of Law. This spring lecture will feature a nationally-recognized leader who will speak on a significant area of the practice of nonprofit law. Details about each will be posted in this area of the web site as they become available.
Once again, enjoy the fellowship of nonprofit colleagues and camaraderie with those interested in and committed to the work of nonprofit organizations all at the beautiful “new” Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations building at 11402 Bellflower Rd. in University Circle.
Please note: We are still finalizing programs. Please check back regularly for additions!
Make this the year that you make the Mandel Center your home, too.
