Faculty Highlights
Rob Fischer, Research Associate Professor, presented a research paper on evaluating the effectiveness of federally funded, faith-based programs during the White House Conference on Research Related to the Faith-based and Community Initiative, June 26-28, in Washington, D.C. Fischer's study, entitled "In God We Trust - All Others Bring Data," summarized the highest quality research on faith-based services and made recommendations for advancing the work in the sector.
Jack Kleinhenz, Lecturer and CEO of Kleinhenz & Associates, was recently named a Fellow by the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) at its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Fellows are selected on an annual basis by NABE's board of directors. Criteria include service as a professional business economist, dedication to the field of business economics, and outstanding contributions to NABE.
Kelly McMann, Assistant Professor of Political Science, was announced as one of the recipients of the Glennan Fellowship. These Fellowships are awarded each spring by the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education and are designed to reward excellence in faculty and to nurture their growth as teachers and scholars.
