What are the requirements for membership in the Strategic Technology Alliance?

Membership is open to educational (higher education and K-12), research, cultural, healthcare, governmental and non-profit organizations in Northeast Ohio.

How is Northeast Ohio defined?

Northeast Ohio is defined to be all of Cuyahoga County and all adjoining counties of Ohio (Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, Geauga, and Lake).

Are there any fees involved with becoming a member of the Strategic Technology Alliance?

At this time there are no fees for membership.

Do I have to buy products and/or services from Strategic Technology Alliance vendors?

There is no obligation to purchase from Strategic Technology Alliance vendors.

How will I satisfy my organization's RFQ process?

Strategic Technology Alliance vendors will quote the Strategic Technology Agreement to satisfy your requirement.

Other than price discounts, are there other benefits from the vendors available to Strategic Technology Alliance Affiliates?

The Strategic Technology Alliance vendors will work with you to provide evaluation equipment, project funding, internships and other collaborative efforts.

What obligations do I have as a member of the Strategic Technology Alliance?

Committees, seminars, presentations and other activities are available but not required for Membership. There are no obligations.

Who do I order products or services from?

Transactions are made directly with the Strategic Technology Alliance vendor.
