ITS has installed and is operating a high performance computing cluster based on Dell PowerEdge servers with Intel processors and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Details of the hardware configuration can be found at wiki.case.edu/ITS/High_Performance_Computing_Cluster/hardware. The initial 18-node cluster was put into production in May 2005 and has grown through faculty investment in the form of hardware and software purchases and salary support. Operation of the facilities is guided by the Advisory Committee on Research Computing. Faculty who are interested in using the resource should complete the form located at wiki.case.edu/images/a/af/HPCApplication.pdf. Please contact roger.bielefeld@case.edu for additional information.
