Blackboard Communication Tools: Student Roster

 

The Roster shows all students enrolled in the Blackboard version of the class. First go to the site of the course. Then click on the Communication button in the side panel. In the page that comes up on the right, choose Roster. Student information includes last name and first name; students' email addresses will be listed only for individuals who have activated that material in the Personal Information portion of My Blackboard. The names that appear in the Roster should be the same as those in the Registrar's class list. Click on a student's name to see his/her student "homepage" for the course.

Click on the header tab to choose one of the search options:

• LIST ALL to show the entire roster
• SEARCH to search by last name or user name
• STARTS WITH to list items starting with a particular letter
• ADVANCED to search with partial names
