I've worked in R & D since 1977 and have picked up an attitude that if the User Manual's been written, it's not fun anymore. My latest projects have included the implementation of CWRU's Library Information System (EuclidPLUS), the Ohio Library Information Network (OhioLINK), supervising the development of the CWRU Hypermedia Information System (Aurora) and the university's e-Learning environment (Blackboard) while directing the Library Information Technologies and then the Digital Media Services departments. Recently, I was honored by selection to the International Who's Who of Professionals (1997) and the International Who's Who of Information Technology (2002). In July of 2002, I was given (and jumped on) the opportunity to give up the budget spreadsheets and review forms after a decade of directing and go back to getting my hands dirty developing new technologies in the Web Services space: e-portals, e-commerce, e-procurement, e-payment, e-billing, ...eeeeeeeeeee! It's great to be back!
